Questions about PDFs.
How do I make a PDF read aloud for free?
Adobe Acrobat Reader and Microsoft Edge read PDFs aloud, and so does Speak selection on a Mac (Option + Esc). LoudFlow is free too, 1,000 words a day, in any PDF app: select text and press Ctrl + Space.
Can it read a long PDF?
Yes. Select the next page and press Ctrl + Alt + Space. It reads on.
What about a scanned PDF?
Only if you can select its text. A scan that is just a picture can’t be read.
Does it work on Windows and Mac?
Yes. Windows, and Mac with macOS 14 or later (Intel Macs: 13.4 or later). The user guide shows each step.
Who sees my PDFs?
LoudFlow never sends your texts to us or to anyone else.
